The Kel-Tec RDB is a modern bullpup rifle chambered in 5.56 that is the little brother to the RFB chambered in .308. The RDB comes from the same family of firearms as the widely known KSG shotgun and shares many similarities with it.

From its square texturing to how its controls are set up, the RDB evokes a very modern and forward-thinking design philosophy of "less is more". There is nothing on this rifle that is not supposed to be there, from a simple paddle-like fire selector to a lever-activated magazine release, the RDB is very purpose-driven while delivering clean contours and from an ergonomic standpoint, it feels incredible akin to the KSG.

Operationally, the rifle is very natural with its control placements exactly where you would expect them to be, allowing any user to transition to and from this rifle very naturally. It will also effortless for the user to then operate guns like the KSG, this is a fantastic testament to the unified design process of Kel-Tec, ensuring each product in their lineup can relate to others with minimal user adjustment.

The airsoft version from ARES feels very nimble and it features their tried and tested EFCS system ensuring stable and reliable performance. The rifle is front wired inside the handguard and also employs T-Plug (deans). The RDB is also compatible with standard M4 AEG magazines and comes threaded 14mm CCW.

Comes with one 120rds and one 100rds mid cap magazine

Petit détail, il est configuré d'origine pour 11.1 volt. Comme le système inclus une protection batterie cela ne fonctionnera pas avec une 7.4 sauf à acquérir le boîtier Amoeba pour changer la config

Très bien
Une réplique bien construite exempte de cliquetis ou autres mouvements de corps parasites. En sortie de boite cette réplique affiche 345 FPS en 0.20. Le ressort d'origine, sans doute un 100 assure le service en CQB ou même à installer un 95 ou 90 tant l'ensemble pneumatique est efficace. Seul petit souci rencontré, un joint hop UP peu ou pas efficace, depuis remplacé. Le changement de ressort est effectivement aisé même sur le terrain. Les tests avec différents ressorts donne toujours des vitesse supérieures à la valeur annoncée du ressort donc, aucune perte en interne. Il s'agit d'une réplique très satisfaisante d'autant que je l'ai associée au boîtier de programmation. Pour la batterie l'espace est compté mais un mini stick 11.1 , 1300mAh passe sans problème, dim utile 130x20x20 mm
