The G&G CM-16 LGM can almost be classified as a "hybrid" LMG as it can not only take box mags and shoot in a stable, full auto, rate of fire but it can also take regular M4 magazines and shoot semi-auto. The ability to do so really offers a lot more flexibility and options to the player/gunner wielding this weapon as not only can you provide suppressive fire but if necessary, take precision shoots with its 300mm precision inner barrel. The high quality polymer upper and lower receiver ensures light weight but yet robustness and durability. The fore grip has M-LOK sections that allows for the adaption of different accessories and the gun already comes with a bipod fore grip.

Internally the gun takes full advantage of G&G's MOSFET and ETU which we see perform at high levels in their other guns, namely the ARP series of AEGs. The gearbox and gear sets are full metal. The gun also comes with some dummy rounds for added realism.
