The new AK01 rifle from the MOS factory is a magnificent rifle from the AK family. And this time too, the rifle combines a modern look with precision performance. For years, MOS has gained experience, producing articles for firearms as well as for the biggest companies in the Airsoft industry. The replica was made with precision and care. The lower receiver is connected to a lightweight MLOCK handguard. In this model is mounted an adjustable buttstock type M4. Most of the external elements are made of metal.

It should be noted that, as in the original, the lower the top cover, the safety selector, the trigger guard as well as the lock of the charger were cold pressed from a steel sheet. Following the original, all front and rear chainstays like the muzzle brake and charging handle are metal.

In addition, the plate for the sling as well as the lock nuts located on the butt tube are made of metal. All these metallic elements have been protected against corrosion, using an industrial method.

The gearbox and its interior are another advantage of this replica. It has a quick spring change system, the piston head is on bearings. The polymer piston is equipped with steel teeth that work with high quality gears. The gears are mounted on plain bearings to be able to support the highest loads. Only the motor gear is mounted on ball bearings to ensure it is free to spin at high speeds.

Inside we will find an electric Micro Switch connected to the low-current wiring, preparing the replica for cooperation with Li-Po batteries. Using an electric trigger eliminates the problem of blown contacts and improves trigger response time.

The gearbox is finished with a sealed Teflon nozzle. It works with a metal hop-up chamber in which a 6.01 mm precision hardened steel barrel is mounted. The gearbox is equipped with a spring tension release button, it is placed next to the trigger. After using the replica, we can release the spring.
